Samsung's latest smartphone, the Galaxy F41, looks like an upgraded version of its popular Galaxy M21.

The Galaxy F41 has the same specifications as the Galaxy M21, but Samsung has upgraded the camera setup on this new smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with the same display as M21, but it offers 6GB RAM and a much better camera setup and starts at a price of ₹ 16,999 in India.

But, is the new Samsung Galaxy F41 worth your money? Let's find out.

DISPLAY AND DESIGN

The device comes with a glossy plastic back and weighs 190 grams. The phone feels good when you hold it in your hands. It doesn't feel too big and Samsung did a great job in balancing the weight of Galaxy F41, as it comes with a massive 6000 mAh battery.

The device comes with a plastic back and hence if you are planning to buy this smartphone, make sure you use it with a case.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with a physical fingerprint scanner at the back with the camera module on the left side. The device gets a noise- cancelling microphone at the top and comes with a triple card slot on the left. The Volume rockers and Power button are positioned very well on the right side.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 does come with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port and a speaker grill at the bottom.

The fingerprint scanner works very well and is fast. However, the sound output from the speakers isn't the loudest but it's decent and you'll have a nice time in watching videos on this smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection on the top. The display on Samsung's smartphone is one of their key selling points. The Super AMOLED display on Galaxy F41 is great. You get vibrant and punchy colours, making the overall visual experience really good.

The display has a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. There shouldn't be any complaint regarding this because this is what you'll get at this price range if you're getting an AMOLED screen.

The videos looks sharp and people will have a really good time. You won't have any issue in harsh lighting condition as it comes with 450 nits of peak brightness.

To sum up, the Samsung Galaxy F41 is one of the great smartphone in the market in terms of display.

SOFTWARE AND USER INTERFACE

The Samsung Galaxy F41 runs on One UI 2.0 and is based on Android 10.

However, the users will immediately receive and update of the latest One UI 2.1 as soon as they take it out of the box. The new One UI 2.1 brings a lot of bug fixes and additional camera features, making the overall experience of the smartphone even better.

The device handles the day to day tasks smoothly and efficiently and you won't get any issue while multitasking on the device.

However, the device comes with a lot of pre-installed apps that take up a lot of storage space but thankfully we can uninstall most of them. The pre-installed apps includes Microsoft, apps from Samsung, Moj, DailyHunt.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 with One UI 2.1 comes packed with an Always-on display, Dark Mode, Smart View, Ultra Data Saving, Dolby Atmos, Focus Mode, Dual Messenger, Game Launcher, Fingerprint Sensor Gestures and Blue Light Filter.

The device also comes with Widevine L1 certification, which means you can watch the shows on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video in best quality.

PERFORMANCE

The Samsung Galaxy F41 is powered by the 10nm Exynos 9611 octa-core SoC, coupled with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and a 6GB RAM.

In terms of performance, rival smartphones come with a better chipset for gamers. However, you won't notice any issue in your daily usage. The Exynos 9611 processor handles everyday tasks really well and there will be no lags.

For gaming, the phone can run heavy games like Call of Duty: Mobile on medium and low graphics smoothly. Playing on high graphics can result in occasional frame drops.

Lighter games like Among Us, Candy Crush Saga and Free Fire runs smoothly without any issue.

So, if you are a heavy gamer, you can look into other smartphones in this price range that offers a better gaming experience.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS + GLONASS. There are no issues in connectivity and you won't face any problems when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.

The Galaxy F41 comes with UFS 2.1 storage and it feels good that Samsung is giving UFS 2.1 storage in its mid-range smartphones.

CAMERAS

The Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with a triple camera setup at the rear, which consists a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 5 MP depth sensor camera. At the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.

The camera performance on the Galaxy F41 is just great!

You won't experience any issues in daylight shots. The camera also performs decent in low-light conditions.

The Portrait mode performs extremely well. The Bokeh Mode too performs really well and gives cool effects to your photos with nice punchy colours.

The Samsung Galaxy F41, with One UI 2.1 gets access to new camera features like Single Take, Night Hyper-lapse and so on.

The camera also includes Live Focus, ultra-wide-angle mode, Slow Motion, Pro Mode, Super Steady, Super Slow Motion, Night Mode, Panorama Mode and Food Mode.

It's got everything!!!

BATTERY LIFE

The Samsung Galaxy F41 packs a massive 6000 mAh battery that comes with a 15W fast charger. The battery is one of the key features of the smartphone.

With this massive 6000 mAh battery, the user can easily get through a day with a single charge. It's good enough for both casual and heavy users.

However, the main disappointing factor about the battery is that it takes around 3 hours to charge it fully, which is a lot of time.

Samsung missed the trick by not providing a 25W charging facility as other smartphones in this price range provide better a far charging experience.

VERDICT

The Samsung Galaxy F41 is a great smartphone for people who are specially looking to buy a smartphone which isn't made by brands like Realme, Xiaomi etc.

It comes with the best Super AMOLED Display, a massive 6000mAh battery, a user-friendly interface and probably the best camera experience at this price.

Overall, if you are looking for a smartphone with a great display and excellent camera and are not much into heavy usage like Gaming, then the Samsung Galaxy F41 is the right smartphone for you.
